IMFcompanion

Since Exchange 2003 brought Intelligent Message Filtering (IMF), administrators were looking for help to verify, extend, or adjust, IMF operation. Thousands of downloads of IMFcompanion and positive reactions proof that this freeware utility is your right companion fighting against SPAM.

Currently, many people use version 1.15 . Updates to the controls used by IMFcompanion make it more stable and slightly faster. Also expect to see some enhancements in later version, or updates. During the year 2006 I've corrected several small abnormalities. Before you install the new version, you must uninstall the previous one. The MSI doesn't update an existing installation.

Microsoft updated the User Guide of the Exchange 2003 Intelligent Message Filter. I've added some extra information in an appendix and reformatted it a bit to enhance the readability. You can download it now, if you wish...

I've stopped, temporary, the support and enhancement of IMFcompanion. This is to give me time to update the current VB6 developed edition, to a version that uses the .NET Framework version 2, using VisualStudio 2005.

There are several reports of "overflow" errors which I want to cure before going any further. And I expect this will go away using a more state-of-the-art platform.

No commitments on actual completion date, but those of you that provide(d) a (small) PayPal donation will receive notification of that much sooner than others.
